May/June 2012 Lunch Menu Change
The lunch choice for Tuesday, May 22 has been changed from Turkey Parmesan Hero to Deli Turkey Hero.
High School Schedule for Regents Exams, Review Sessions and Final Exams
The High School Schedule for Regents Exams, Review Sessions and Final Exams is posted under Publications and Forms/High School.  This is the same schedule that was emailed to families.
Middle School End of Year Schedule
The Middle School End of Year Schedule is posted under Publications and Forms/Middle School.  This schedule includes final exams, field trips and miscellaneous events.  It is the same schedule that was mailed home with Progress Reports.
PTSA Book Fair in the School Library - May 15 - 17, 2012
The PTSA Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the School Library, on Tuesday, May 15 @ 9 am - 7 pm, Wednesday, May 16 @ 9 am - 3 pm and Thursday, May 17th @ 9 am - 3 pm.
7th Grade Schooner Trip Family Meeting - May 17, 2012
There will be a Schooner Trip Meeting for all 7th grade students and parents on Thursday, May 17, at 7:00 pm, in the Chorus Room.  Mr. Becker will discuss the trip and hand out all necessary forms.  As the trip is scheduled for June 4 - 8, it is very important that all be in attendance.  If you cannot attend the meeting or you have any questions, please contact Mr. Becker at extension 308.
School Closed for Memorial Day Break - May 24 - 28, 2012
This year's school calendar indicated that May 24-25 were reserved as vacation days if snow days were not used.  As we had a very mild winter and did not need snow days, school will be closed for Memorial Day Break, May 24-28, with classes resuming on May 29th.
Grades 7-12 Spring Concert - May 30, 2012
The Grades 7-12 Spring Concert will be held on May 30, at 7:30 pm, in the Auditorium.  All students should arrive at the Chorus or Band room by 7:00 pm.  As always, gentlemen are required to wear dress slacks, dress shirt and tie and ladies are required to wear "dressy" dresses, skirts or pantsuits.  Please, no denim, t-shirts or sweats.
Grades K-6 Spring Concert - May 31, 2012
The Grades K-6 Spring Concert is scheduled for May 31.  The K-4 portion begins at 7:00 pm.  Students should report to his/her classroom at 6:45 pm.  The Grades 5-6 portion begins after a brief intermission, at approximately 8:00 pm (it could possibly begin a little earlier if the K-4 portion ends early.)  Both Band and Chorus students in Grades 5-6 should report to the music room at 7:45 pm.  For all participants, "Sunday" dress is appropriate -- no denim, t-shirts or sweats, please. 
High School Sports Awards Ceremony - June 5, 2012
The High School Sports Awards Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 6:30 pm, in the Auditorium.  Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be served in the cafeteria.  All Junior Varsity and Varsity Athletes will be celebrated for their accomplishments.  Family, friends and community are invited to share in the celebration.  For further information, please contact Rick Osmer, our Athletic Director, at 749-0302, extension 307.
Earth Science Regents Review Schedule
For all students taking the Earth Science Regents, there will be review sessions held in the Middle School Science Classroom from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm.  The dates and topics for each session are as follows.

     - May 29  -  Topic Sheets 1 and 2
     - May 30  -  Topic Sheets 5, 7 and 8
     - June 4  -  Topic Sheets 3, 4 and 6
     - June 5  -  Topic Sheets 11 and 12
     - June 11  -  Topic Sheets 9 and 10
     - June 12  -  Topic Sheets 13 and 14

2% Tax Cap Presentation

Sex Offender Notifications
In order to provide parents/guardians and residents with information concerning convicted sex offenders who are living or working in this district, our school district is now benefiting from a no-cost sex offender email alert notification program.  Parents for Megan's Law (PFML) will email district residents, who have registered, informing them of any new sex offender's presence and direct them to their website where they can access a full copy of the notification.  If you have not already registered to receive current or future sex offender notifications please contact the Parents for Megan's Law Helpline at 631-689-2672 or go to their website at www.parentsformeganslaw.org and click on the "Sex Offender Email Alert Registration Program" link on the home page.
